Terms of Service

Designa (designa.work) is an all in one workspace for interior design and architecture studios: leads, specifications, mood boards, quotations, GST invoicing, procurement and a client portal. The service is owned and operated by SS Ventures (“we”, “us”). You can reach us any time at sumana@studiocontour.co.in.

You need an account to use Designa. Keep your sign in credentials safe: you are responsible for activity under your account. A workspace (studio) is controlled by its owner, who decides which team members join and what each role can see and do. Client portal access is free for your clients and does not count towards your member limit.

You must be legally able to enter a contract and must not use the service for anything unlawful, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to break, overload or probe the platform’s security.

The founding studio plan is a flat price of ₹2,299 + GST for one year of access, covering your whole studio up to 10 members, with unlimited free client logins. Larger teams are priced by agreement — contact us. Payments are collected in rupees through Razorpay; we never see or store your card details. Prices for renewals may change, and we will tell you before a renewal is due. Taxes such as GST apply as per Indian law.

Every purchase is covered by a 7 day money back guarantee. If Designa is not right for your studio, email sumana@studiocontour.co.in within 7 days of your payment and we will refund the full amount — no questions, no forms. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and typically arrive within 5 to 7 working days. After a refund, access to the paid workspace ends, and the data retention rules below apply.

Everything your studio puts into Designa — projects, specifications, boards, client records, documents, quotes and invoices — belongs to your studio. We claim no ownership over it. You can export your data at any time, and we will help with exports on request. We use your data only to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

While your subscription is active, we keep your data available in the product. If your plan expires or you cancel, your workspace becomes read only and we retain your data for 60 days so you can renew or export without losing anything. After that window we may permanently delete workspace data from live systems, with residual copies clearing from encrypted backups within a further 35 days.

You can ask us to delete your workspace sooner at any time by writing to sumana@studiocontour.co.in. Invoices and payment records may be kept longer where Indian tax and accounting law requires it.

We work hard to keep Designa fast and available, but no software is perfect and the service is provided “as is”. We may update, improve or change features over time. Guided onboarding and data migration are included with paid plans; support is by email at sumana@studiocontour.co.in.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SS Ventures is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost business), and our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously breached (for example unlawful use or attacks on the platform); where reasonable we will warn you first. The refund and data retention sections above continue to apply.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; if a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
